Odd product names from a N American perspective

Some of the odd product names here in Switzerland include Fatto kitty litter and the Speculatius Dutch cookies. Not so odd but just long and awkward to the Anglo tongue is the main Swiss lager Feldschlõsschen. Then you have Barfusserplatz, a popular square in Basel, which is apparently affectionately known as "Barfi."

OBI is a garden centre not to be confused with rapper Obi Trice. "Abzurd" is just a great name for a clothing store nearby.

New flat photos

Our new flat is on Güterstrasse not far from town. The photo out the right of the balcony is looking towards town and nearby the spire of the Heiliggeistkirche (Holy Ghost Church). The photo to the left out the front balcony is the MParc (under the rainbow) which is a shopping centre.
